Dick Briggs has been involved in motorcycles most of his life. In the 1970's, he started building custom bikes and in 1989, he opened Behind Bars Motorcycle Co., Inc. in Ballston Spa, NY. As a full service motorcycle repair shop as well, Dick and his team of Harley experts have many years of experience solving problems for riders. As the saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention and whenever there is a specific need to be addressed, Dick works diligently to satisfy his customer. His dedication to create efficient and great looking bikes resulted in a series of fantastic bike parts that could be marketed to the entire riding community. This was the inspiration for Briggs Made Cycle Parts, Inc. Dick's featured product is the Rocker Boards™ patent pending braking and shifting conversion kit.
